My boys love these banana muffins. And best of all they are so easy to prepare that even my 4 yr old loves to help me to make them! They are healthier, moist and delicious!!
As a mom, I am always trying to make their favorite dishes as healthier as I can and "nana muffins" as my younger one calls them are no different. I manage to change up a little bit of Giada's Recipe to make a little healthier without sacrificing their flavor or texture.
So, I am taking a break on my posts about kids activities because I made these A-MA-ZING parmesan bread twist that I had to share with you. For you, yeast-phobiac friends, I have taken pictures of every step, so if you want to be adventurous and try this recipe I promise you won't regret!
Now, when we talk about yeast, a lot of people are afraid to even finish reading a recipe, just because they think it's complicated. If you have never, ever used yeast before, I just gotta say that you are missing out some great homemade bread for no reason whatsoever! Seriously, there is nothing complicated or difficult about yeast.
We have two types of yeast: Fresh and Dry. I have used both, but prefer to use the dry one because I always have on hand, simply because it last longer. I personally buy my dry yeast in bulk, at my wholesale store. It comes 2 packs of 1lb each. Yes, I do make a lot of bread at home... Just because it's easy, I know what's in it and fresh baked bread is yummier!
Lately, I have been working letters and handwriting with my son. He is pretty good with the upper case, however having difficulty with the lower case. To make learning easy and more fun, I went to Pinterest in search of some inspiration.
Found this: ABC Scoops and thought it was a great idea! I went to google the images, but came back empty handed, so had to make one myself. It took a while, since I am not a pro in making illustrations, and I liked how it came out. Son loved the surprise and was eager to find the matches!
I love to have some Paint Chips on hand. Every time I go to my local home improvement store, I make sure to grab some. They come in so many colors and have tons of uses that I always have them around. You can't go wrong with something so versatile like these paint chips and best of all, they are free!
So here are my list of 5 Super Easy Preschool Activities Using Paint Chips:
Wow! Time flies, that's for sure! I can't believe I have been MIA since March last year, but so many things were happening that my blog was left aside. I am sure you will understand that family always comes first and somehow I couldn't make my days stretch. Sometimes - who am I kidding - everyday I feel like my day should have at least 36hrs, this way I could get most of the things done and would have some time to catch up my zzz's!
But, being MIA does not mean that I completely forgot about this blog, to the contrary, it was always in the back of my head. My brain is always working, coming up with some great activities or crafts for my boys, that would be great to share with you all. Also, my search for great recipes on the web, never stopped. So my quest for homemade food made from scratch is still going stronger than ever!
So, just wanted to stop by to say that I am back and I am working on some really cool stuff to share with you all! Stay tuned!!
